Our magazine catch assembly is manufactured to exceed military specifications. The rod and bar are billet machined 4140 (not investment cast like the standard parts on the market, which are prone to break over time). The mag catch button is billet machined from 6160 T-6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized. It is also cross-hatch textured for a more positive grip and aesthetically pleasing than a standard mil-spec mag button. This assembly includes the mag catch button, mag catch and spring. We manufacture all three components ourselves and they are 100% made in the U.S.
